About me

My whole life I have been involved in sports. I started training gymnastics when I was 4 years old. The tough gymnastic training has ever since characterized my way of training. I like to push myself very hard and I guess this is why I got into figure/body fitness.

In my early teens I decided to give up gymnastics and try something else. I tried different sports but didn't find anything that really interested me until I started to lift weights in a gym in the small town where I grew up ( Sundsvall ). When I saw the bodybuilding and fitness, guys and girls, and how hard they trained, I knew that this was a sport for me.

At the gym, I soon got to know the girl who has been my biggest inspiration in this sport and who also has become one of my dearest friends, Christel Lingh. Christel has been a big support, a good friend and not to mention my biggest role model with her fantastic physique.

In August 2003 I moved to the U.S.A ( Fullerton , CA ). I studied at Cal. State University Fullerton and trained at Koloseum Gym in Fullerton . In February 2004 I did my first figure competition, the Ironman Figure Championships. I enjoyed competing and wanted back up on stage.

I did two more competitions in the US .

In June that same year I decided to move back to Sweden and my next goal became the Swedish National Championships that upcoming fall.

At the Swedish nationals I was in my best shape ever. About six months later I was chosen to go to the 2005 World Body Fitness Championships in Spain . In September 2005 I placed 9 th out of 32 girls at the World Championships.

I wasn't completely happy with my shape that year but one year later I got another chance. In the 2006 World Body Fitness Championships I placed 4 th out of 34 all very good girls. I'm pretty happy with that placing but not completely satisfied. I know a couple of things I could have done better but that's easy to say afterwards, you always learn something new from every competition.

Two weeks after the 2006 World Championships I did the Swedish National Championships. Also this time all the competitors were in very good shape which I was happy about. It's always more fun to compete when there is a lot of hard competition and it's also fun to see that body fitness as a sport is getting bigger in Sweden.

Right now I live in Stockholm. I work as a personal trainer and Diet counelor at Delta gym and I study at the university to become a nutritionist/dietist

I like Stockholm but ever since I got back from California I have wanted to move back there. The sport is bigger over there and I miss a lot of my friends (and of course the climate).

The best thing about living in Sweden though is that I'm near my family. I love my family, they mean the world to me.

However, life is full of surprises and I love challenges, so we'll see what I will do in the future and where I'll end up living.

Finally I want to thank all my sponsors. I'm very grateful for all your help and support.
